This soft and luxurious Habotai silk scarf has been hand-dyed with fresh Japanese Indigo leaves grown organically here at Fuller Mountain Farm in Vermont. Unlike indigo dye made from dried or processed leaves, fresh-leaf dyeing captures the remarkable blue-green pigments of the living plant, creating this scarf's beautiful turquoise to sea-green hue.

Each scarf is individually hand-dyed and set according to best natural dye practices, so subtle variations in color and tone are part of what makes every piece unique.

Habotai silk is light, fine, and wonderfully soft, with a gentle, low-glare sheen. At 8 inches wide and 54 inches long, this versatile scarf is lovely worn around the neck, draped over the shoulders, or simply tied in your favorite way. The hand-rolled hem adds a simple, elegant finish.

Caring for Your Hand-Dyed Silk

Your scarf has been lovingly dyed with fresh Japanese Indigo grown here at Fuller Mountain Farm. When needed, hand wash gently in tepid water with pH-neutral soap. Rinse and dry flat. Store out of direct sunlight, wrapped in the acid-free tissue paper that it arrives in.
